My mom gave me one of these and I was skeptical - finally attached it to my machine and wish I had done it sooner. Who knew how dark it really was under there!
I think the extra mounting kits are so you can move from machine to machine - and I also used the cord keeper clips and ran the cord along the back of my Bernina so it's not in my way.
