doing it like it showed on the tutorial, without batting.. would it be thick enough for a quilt with just using 2 pieces of fabric sewed together?
I know that the folds would be thicker but the center of the circle would still be just 2 pieces of fabric.

I would use batting, otherwise it would still be like making a regular quilt with no batting, still 2 layers of fabric. pretty thin! and thanks to those who posted the links of the original post where I copied the pic from, I knew it was on here somewhere but couldn't even find it in the search.
