I think the colors are rather soothing--not shocking at all, but very pretty.
I guess color is all in the eyes of the beholder. I'll post a photo of a quilt that I consider quite shocking a little later. My husband tells me it makes his eyes bleed. :) Maybe the quilters here will agree or disagree, but it's always fun to look at things from a different perspective.
