Yes they are needleturned and a plate took me about five hours ( times 16) and the stars about 3.5 hours (times 15) and after that I lost track....... the seminole border was quite easy, adding the border to the quilt a bit difficult as it was all on bias and had to kept square.
I would love to have such a chess watch. Whenever you start to work you push the button......
As much as I would like to know how much I spend on piecing I get carried away and at the end I have to guess.
The blocks are 15.5 inch square
