I feel the same about yellow in quilts. I love yellow. But in quilts as in gardens, a little goes a long way.
I thought I'd add some photos of quilts to demonstrate what I mean, These are mine. The zinnia table runner is a summer piece, but wow, a bit much. The others make better use of the yellow.
