I did that one time and found the piece IN THE QUILT. Found it by accident with my finger. It broke off in the fold of the binding. So check well.
It couldn't be in the quilt. I had the whole thing on the table and just the corner I was working on was hanging down. The dogs have been shedding like crazy and I think it got swept up with dog fur.
At least that is what I'm counitng on.
