I no longer have the quilt. It was stolen from me in the late 1980's and probably sold to an antique place in Gulfport, MS. I will check on your honeycomb idea. I was thinking Kansas City Dugout block maybe. Except instead of putting the blocks together side by side, she separated them with sashing. That is a double bed, the quilt is on and it came down pretty far on the sides so I am thinking maybe 5 blocks across plus a 3 or 4 inch sashing, using maybe a 12 inch block. Have to try it out on paper. This is a new project and I am wanting to duplicate this as closely as possible.

I have been looking for a long time for the right shade of light blue and pink. The solids for 1930's colors are too dark.
