I try to send something local to me like a postcard or bag or pencil. i also put in something that I have made , something to eat and drink some fabric, a notion perhaps a handcream or lip balm. Now I can send something a bit more weighty I will include a (second hand) book or magazine (no cost). I also include a card or note about myself and the area I live in. I love to hear something personal about my swap pal, I have my Sp and have most of things put together I only have to make something and I know what I am going to do so it is just a matter of getting it together and into the post.
