I have 2 of the crochet hooks size 14. I use it to pick threads and if by sight I see a darker thread under light fabrics while longarming I use it to pick the threads out. It is easy due to such small size. Just wiggle the hook into the fabric and then hook onto the errant thread and pullout. Amazon has then for like 2 bucks. I H T H's
