Love the setting and the blocks. Stick with the batiks, maybe a sand for the blanks and then see how the ones you left out will blend so you can put them back in to make it large enough. It should be about 50" x 70" finished. Then put a 4" or 5" border of the same color around it so the blocks "float". then you can add a darker border to finish it off. You will need 25 or 32 blocks. Depending on how much fabric you have. Good luck, its going to be beautiful.
