I had a Laundry Room Bowl when my
children were small.
If I found something in their pockets
it went in the bowl on the shelf.
No exceptions.
This taught them to clean out their
pockets.
Stuff stayed there until we had a
really good "reward" day or
just a rainy day when they were
bored. Then the bowl became a special
place to retreive there GOODIES.
