I use non skid shelf liner under my sewing machines, a post it note to cover the throat plate while changing needles, a fork for perfect pleats every time, a potholder folded to hold my scissors, large plastic hooks to hang scissor holders from on my sewing tables, revolving trays to hold accessories, coffee cups and cute wicker baskets hold small necessities, a nuts and bolts storage container for presser feet etc. A prescription bottle for needles, just to name a few.
