I just finished making a "daddy" diaper bag using a very plain tote bag pattern but using New Orleans Saints (his favorite team) fabric. I wasn't sure I could pull it off (making a baby bag with predominantly black fabric), but with a few accent fabrics for trim and pockets, the bag turned out great and the new dad is very proud of it. I had scraps left to make a small quilt and changing pad to go with it.
