I have a dog (schnauzer) and 2 cats, and it's not uncommon for me to be sitting in front of the tv and look down and there's an animal in my lap, and I just go "Where did YOU come from?" I'm so used to having pets that I don't even notice their arrival or departure. But I wouldn't have it any other way!
