I did it!! I shortened my granddaughter痴 prom dress and adjusted the straps. I知 a quilter not a seamstress but because I own a sewing machine and because my daughter doesn稚 know one end of a needle from the other granddaughter drove over 200 miles to let me look at the dress and see what I thought. My nerves are shot, I知 exhausted but I did it and it turned out well. She is beautiful and the dress is beautiful, we値l be going to her grad so I値l get to see her wear it with her hair and nails all done. I知 so proud of myself! I think I値l have a bubble bath and work out the kinks from sitting at the machine all day.
