I had already made a baby girl quilt for this couple. But, surprise, HE came early so I had to scramble to make a boy quilt. It is much brighter than I would have liked (have to keep telling myself it is a toddler quilt not a baby quilt).

I put off quilting it for a week. Just couldn't force myself to do it. And I was right, I HATE QUILTING. I have a very small (cheap) machine (my good one is in being repaired and I had to wrestle that stupid quilt all day to just do a simple X quilting on it. I tried to do a curved quilting pattern on the border (first time at that), but ended up ripping it all out and doing simple straight lines instead.

So I just went on-line and ordered the John Flynn frame. Hopefully this will help with the quilting part of quilting.

This is the toddler boy quilt I just finished.
