I was at a Stitch and Bitch last weekend and found such inspiration in 4 ladies. Three of the ladies were related and attended the S&B solely to work together to make quilts to send to a family who has been affected by tornados that hit Northern Alabama. A fourth lady, saw what they were doing and put her project aside to help the group.

By the time they left that night, they had assembled three quilt tops a bit larger than a standard twin size of a block in block pattern with borders. I was so inspired at how they all worked together so quickly to get the tops done. One of the original 3 ladies has a long-arm and thought she could have them quilted within a week. This world has some truly amazing quilters and made me so proud to call myself a quilter.
