You are printing youe shapes directly on the back side of your fabric, using her templates.

http://www.quiltbus.com/inklingo.htm has an article. There are
so many free graph paper sites and other ways to get shapes, If you hapen to have a printer that uses ink that does not wash out well, you could be in trouble.
