I just got my cycle license and I'm still getting used to riding it. I don't know if I'll ever get to the point where I'd feel comfortable with strapping my machine on the back.
My DH had a very serious head injury many years ago and has a plate in his head - yes - we wear helmets! When I told the granddaughter that I am learning to ride, she made me promise that I would wear a helmet.
