Just guessing the C is really a G6086868 which would make it a 114 - the prefix determines where the machine was made so the G is a more logical choice for the area. Singer machines with the single prefix of C were made in Germany.
Neither would be featherweights.
but are they worth the price and time to clean them up and get them working (if they're not)?
