I am so excited to head out on a 13-hour drive to get to Nebraska this week. AccuQuilt is having their Unveiling party of this year's Barn Quilt designs. A 6-ft rendition of my 2nd place winning design will be mounted on the side of their headquarters there in Fremont, Nebraska. A 17-ft billboard of the 1st place design will be mounted on the end of their building, visible from the freeway. They'll stay there until next year's contest. Eleanor Burns (my BFF) will be there to talk about Barn Quilts in America. She's a kick, and I am just tickled to be included in the big party! Nebraska, here I come!
