My Aunt Shirley was a hairdresser and first noticed that her hands would feel asleep. She would stop working and shake them to get the circulation going. Later, the skin on her cheeks got hard... oddly tho, her face went back to soft after a while - maybe it was the medication. She died of brain cancer, tho.
