My Aunt Shirley was a hairdresser and first noticed that her hands would feel asleep. She would stop working and shake them to get the circulation going. Later, the skin on her cheeks got hard... oddly tho, her face went back to soft after a while - maybe it was the medication. She died of brain cancer, tho.

I wish my questions was rhetorical. ... and thank you for your hugs.

I was diagnosed with it in the mid 70's so I've long since come to terms with it. Have been fortunate that it's been relatively mild all these years.

Glad that your aunt's facial skin soften. There have been cases where its gone into remission.
My doctor wonders how I can keep quilting...told her I'm stubborn ... I'll keep doing whatever I can as long as I can.
I just gave her a quilt! :lol:
