That fawn is just barely the same size as the horses head. It almost looks like more of a toy than a real animal. That is just soooo cool how every animal seems to know when something is sooo small and vunerable and the gentle ones are even more gentle to someone soo small.
Talking about that my shelty will play really rough with me and my brother but when my neice and nephew pick up her toy to play tug of war with her she doesn't pull as hard or shake or play growl as loudly as she would with me or another grownup. When my sister-in-law saw that she said "that dog knows when she needs to be more gentle. She is just really smart." And that coming from my sister in law is pretty cool. I have to agree though that Shelly is a very smart girl and she does know a lot of things. People just don't always give animals enough credit about that type of thing though.
