why does someone need to be with a patient all the time when not in ICU?? family seems to be doing the job of Nurses these days. I had to go sit with my husband after his knee surgery rather than go work and earn money to pay the Hospital bills. difficult to do, but had to. The Nurses said they were short staffed. so family has do pitch in. not that we know what to look for. scary.
