I am not sure why your PO doesn't have a flat rate stamp. Perhaps they know it by another name....how about just asking for a $4.95 stamp and see what they come up with. I have not heard of such a thing.....we don't have that stamp. It isn't like it is a special order or anything.....
i'll try that way.

the downside is our post office is very tiny. we only have 1 person that works there.

another town next to us actually delivers our mail thats how small we our.

there' talk that we will lose our post office next year.
And I did lose the one I always go to, but the upside of that is the workers there went to the one I have to go to now, and they all know me!!! So no real change for me except location. As for the stamp, it is just a regular stamp that is $4.95. but since I use it for the flat rate envelopes, I just call it the flat rate stamp....it can be confusing I guess.
Those stamps can now be purchased at the USPS web site and be delivered to your door.
