I certainly understand where you're coming from. I lucked out and have 6 of the pattern cabinets (back to back), filled with fabric (LOL), then have a 2 piece counter top for my cutting table. One of the best thing about it, is that it's the perfect height for me, plus it's about 5' wide and 7' long.
