I always wear my seatbelt. Was in an accident years ago and while I hit the steering wheel hard enough to break a couple of ribs, I felt that seat belt tighten and hold me back. Without it I know I would have gone into or may through the windshield. So, I know from experience that seat belts work and I will not drive or ride in a vehicle without one.
