Well, the quilt is 8 blocks by 8 blocks, so if you cut each block 6.5", the finished quilt would be 48 X 48. If you cut each block 8.5", (to finish at 8" ) the finished quilt would be 64 X 64. It all depends on how big you want your lap quilt to be.
I'm going to give this one a try. I think I'll cut 8.5" blocks, to try for 64x64" size.
