Mary O, loved your Iris! My mom used to have many growing on a hill in her backyard. Here in SC (for anyone who lives close by), in Sumter (I think thats the town) they have the Swan Lake Iris Garden. Its a park and its free to go thru. They have tons of Irises blooming (gone by now Im sure) and its called swan lake cus they had at least 1 of every kind of swan there - I hink theres only 7 differnet types.
Also, in Orangeburg, SC they have the Edisto Memorial Garden. Its also free and they grow a ton of roses there and have a wlking trail, and you can also fish in the river there. A very nice place to spend a day.
You can google both places and see pics. sharet
