Number three daughter's birthday quilt. This one doesn't want one, but she's getting one. She's a purple lover as you can tell. The pattern was on a blog. It's a Disappearing 16 Patch with The lilac sashing and a goose in the corner block added. The squares are not wellmatched - maybe because I was working with all bias edges after it was cut. I'm glad my last one was perfect so I know I can do it. I love the brightness for a Spring birthday. It started with 2 charm packs of Moda's Happy with a lot of scraps added.

The corners? S refers to herself as Eyore, her favorite Pooh character, her first grandbaby is known as MonkeyGirl, her second as Pooh and the heart - just a symbol of love.

The quilting - on my Singer 301. Loops in the lilac, meandering in the big blocks, curved stitching across the seams instead of SITD, five petaled flowers and leaves in the border - one continous pattern except for the echoed quilting in the corners.

I thought I was finished, but I forgot the label. Guess what I'm doing tonight.
