Congratulations on the new furniture!!! I am sure you will enjoy it very much. Our furniture is also 19 years old and should have been replaced several years ago becuase it just has not held up as it should've. Like you...it has always been the *when* statements. Most recently, I have been saying "when we get this wedding over and dd's dog has moved out with her". Well...the wedding is next Sat. and doggie will be gone! :) I imagine I will start looking seriously for new furniture later this summer. And, yes, it will mean new paint job and drapes and maybe new carpet/hardwood floors. LOL
