Glad to hear I'm not alone! My bedroom set is walnut and belonged to my parents, so that's over 40 years old. My dining room set was purchased as a wedding gift in 1986 and has outlasted the marriage, and my Faberware I've had since for over 30 years. I don't think the wood is what makes it look old, I think it's the fabric.
But anyway, I love my new furniture! Almost broke my neck running to it when one of the cats started scratching on it but got there in time with the squirt bottle. ;)
