He is now home safe and sound. I have managed to get some sleep but I am still wiped out. I am taking him to bed early with me. He has not gotten much rest either. Hospitals are horrible places to rest..blah!
He has lost a pound a day since the 3rd (the day of the surgery). He can spare the weight so we are not worried about that. He can eat now but it is a little at a time and as soft as possible. I made homemade chicken noodle soup tonight...that went pretty well. Baby steps...tomorrow will be better still.
