Some of our grandmothers really did a number on their machines using something tied on the cross bar for a pin cushion. My machines may be vintage, but they don't need any more scratches than they get with normal use.
That being said, I do like this idea.
that is EXACLTY what I was going to say...I use the long flower head pins and doubt they would stay in this little cushion..but either way..without the cardboard behind it you run the risk of poking the pins straight through and scratching up the machine!
and remember to NEVER use a magnet on your computerized machines!
