It's a lightweight velcro with a small belt buckle and holes in it like a belt.

I showed it to my husband,too!!! He has a beautiful piece of Cherry that would be nice for this..... I'm like you....He is so into the garden, well, I probably won't see mine till it is under the Christmas Tree!!! lol lol but I'll take it!!!!! hehehe
