All of the fabrics were multicolored, so her end result was just a beautiful blend of colors. Another student did a red, white and black D9P and she put a black and white square (multicolored) in each corner, a pure white square in the center of each side and a red square dead center. This made each of the patches have a small red square. She then turned each block a quarter turn to assemble. I hope this is clear, I'm trying to explain without the benefit of a pic.
