Went through a very bad time and didn't work for 2 years after a car accident. I bought at garage sales and auctions on the weekends and sold on Craigs List and eBay through the week. Made enough money to pay all my 'shopping' expenses and pay the utilities each month. And kept my sanity. My self-made job meant I had to go out and not sit home feeling sorry for my situation. Hubby worked full time but went with me on weekends. It was what we did together since we couldn't afford any socializing or entertainment expenses. And I was cheap cheap cheap. Still am. Iuse coupons. Try not to buy anything that isn't on sale and buy used over new any time that's an option. Sorry you're struggling. Hope it gets better - that you find a way to make it better.
