Share54,
Don't give up. Somewhere on this forum we've discussed the fact that this hobby that has consumed so many of us does take some practice. I started getting serious about quilting about 7 years ago. I have whimpered and moaned and, just like you, felt I'd really failed and bitten off more than I can chew, but I'm also a very stubborn woman! I was not going to let that sewing machine get the best of me and I am seeing improvement with each quilt that I make. Amazing!!! Now I'm getting very serious about hand quilting and applique. Progress comes in little steps sometimes but it is forward moving (usually!). Keep going back to your projects. They'll get easier and better! Trust me! :D
P.S. Remember, unsewing is just part of the process! A necessary evil! We hate it but sometimes it just must be done!
