I completely understand your nervousness... I had to do a little work on my granddaughter's prom dress. I was recovering from eye surgery and wasn't seeing all that well. I had to take up the straps, that had beading. It looked like it was a stip of beading.. But NO, when i started and clipped on little thread.. they started going every where! LOL So, I had to work with "invisible" thread to stablize them so I could make a cut where needed... Here I am, not seeing and working with invisible thread. It turned out just fine and I was pleased that I could help. BUT, I made it clear to my daughters that I would never do that again... I always took their dresses to a professional, and they would have to do the same. Really.. what if I had ruined it? Too much pressure... lol
