I did manage to have all my plates sewn, recruited the kids to cut out leaves for me, and then Sunday was able to get the blocks ready to applique. I do have two completed. Here are my blocks I am sending. I really like them. My DH said they were "real pretty".
It amazes me what stripes can do.
