You may not know why she had it framed, but for sure she really treasures it to have invested that much to have it framed so beautifully! Feel good about your gift and about how your MIL feels about it :-)
Okay, I feel really guilty about my remark about my MIL having this framed. I am glad that she really loves it and I am proud of my work. I just got hung up on the enormous cost for having it framed. (Over $200) I guess I looked at it that it was just a wall hanging and she looked at as a piece of art. I need to learn to accept the compliments about my work and not worry about the mistakes and think that it isn't praise worthy. I am a good quilter, I do do good work, I am a good quilter, I do do good work. . . . I'll have to practice that!!
