I think it sounds great! An inexpensive indulgence which is also practical. I'd like a treadle for piecing during storms and to beautify my living room. My mom learned on a treadle, even though she's only around 60 yrs old. So I'd like to also learn and teach my kids. I'm not going to start looking until other projects are complete.
