My dear quilter friend and I have a strict "WE SHALL NOT BUY ANY MORE FABRIC UNTIL WE"VE GOTTEN RID OF SOME WE HAVE!" policy. But ... I'll find a really good deal - from a link such as yours - and write her saying, "I KNOW you don't need any more fabric, but you might want to look at this anyway..."

She generally holds out a day longer than I do. If it's a REALLY good sale!

Had a Shop Hop here last weekend and we each went separately to our LQS - one of the stops on the hop. I wrote her about the two kits I DID NOT need, but got anyway. Sigh. She wrote back that she'd gotten the exact same kits.

A good 12-step program, anyone? (I teach private piano lessons in addition to my day job. For this coming year I am purposefully designating one student as my Quilt Fund child. I'm taking more students than usual anyway because my husband is retiring and that cuts our monthly income, but in addition to that - one is for quilting. so there!) :)
