I loved "An Irish Country Doctor" by Patrick Taylor, also read "An Irish Country Village" and am currently reading "An Irish Country Christmas". There are more in the series. I love the sense of humor and characters. I discovered them through our church book club.
The Help was great and James Patterson is another of my favorites as is Sue Grafton.
