Thanks for asking, I had completly forgot about posting!

She's doing better, with help from the constant wearing of the cone and the antibiotics and steroids. I talked to the vet on Monday and she told me that Serena tested positive for Lyme Disease, but it's not the root cause of the skin irritations. We decided to go ahead and have her blood sample tested for Lupus. A very expencive test, running at $165. We're still waiting on the results of that test. Everything else came back fine. Once we finish this antibiotic treatment, we'll start a 28 day sycle of a different antibiotic for the Lyme Disease. I do have to bring her back some time next week for a follow-up visit with the vet and that's when we'll start the treatment for the Lyme. That's all i really know for right now.

Thanks again for asking, you were my gentle reminder to let everyone know :)
