Question for you -- do you use fusible fleece instead of batting or interfacing? I found this better because you fuse it onto your fabric then it makes quilting easier. Plus, it gives more support to the bag but yours looks nice and solid.
Another tip is to use light or med weight fusible interfacing on the lining for extra support. My customers have been very pleased and most of my orders are by word-of-mouth. Have fun !!
I agree with your recommendations, I used Pellon Fusible Thermolam plus, which was nice and thick and really gave my tote a lot of support and structure.
