I quilted this for my customer, Joanne. She trusted me to try my hand at some real custom quilting. I drew the designs first until I found something that was perfect for the quilt.
I did all the flowers and feathers freehand, and obviously used rulers for the crosshatch center and beadboard border.
The hardest part for me was stitching around the applique.
