When I was in Italy, visiting my son and family, I discovered that they have always had to pay for their bags if they don't bring their own with them. As soon as I got back home, I set to work making them a bunch of bags in various prints I had on hand. Most of them were from Joann's deco remnants. Now my d.i.l. says she even uses them for diaper bags, beach bags, etc. Next time I go over I'm going to add some interior pockets to a couple of them which I didn't think of before. I'm going to make a few for me, too. The last person I ever think of ... LOL 8)
Isn't that so true? I say the same thing, "oh, I have to make that for my daughter" or "oh, my son would love that" or "oh, I bet my mother would like that." I very rarely think to make something for me.... lol
