Connecting Threads is one of my favorite online shops, needless to say I'm a satisfied customer. They've always been upfront about identifying their "seconds", usually under $3.00, most of these are patterns layed on the fabric slightly off-center. These types of flaws are perfect for scrappy quilts. You might want to keep in mind that "You get what you pay for..." and if you're buying $3.00 fabric, don't expect $12.00 quality. Give them a try, unless you're looking for contest quality, I think you'll be pleased.
